Last issue we introduced ceramic fiber insulation module for heating furnace. This issue we will continue to introduce ceramic fiber insulation module for heating furnace.
(6) In construction, the longest side of ceramic fiber blanket shall be installed in the direction of the flue gas flow; when the hot surface layer is the ceramic fiber board, all the joints shall be a sealed butt joint structure.
When ceramic fiber blanket is used as lining of furnace, joints shall be at least 2.5 cm in compression and the joints shall be staggered.
(7) The ceramic fiber insulation module shall be installed in a vertical arrangement. The installing structure is only used for the roof. When the ceramic fiber module is installed, each side should be in a compressed state to avoid cracks due to shrinkage.
The roof ceramic fiber insulation module should be designed such that the anchorage should be at least 80% of the module width. The anchors nails should be secured to the furnace wall before the ceramic fiber insulation module is installed.
The anchoring and fixing in the ceramic fiber insulation module shall be installed at a maximum distance of 50 mm from the cold surface of the ceramic fiber module.
The anchoring fixture in the ceramic fiber insulation module shall be at least 304 stainless steel.
