The most widely used thermal insulation material in cement rotary kiln is high temperature Calcium silicate board. In all parts of the cement kiln, the composite use of high temperature Calcium silicate board and refractory material greatly reduces heat consumption. The following are the types of refractory and insulation materials used in various parts of the cement kiln:
Smoke chamber: high-aluminum refractory castable, anti-skinning castable, high temperature Calcium silicate board.
Tertiary air duct: high-strength alkali-resistant brick, high temperature Calcium silicate board, steel fiber reinforced castable.
Kiln head cover: high-aluminum high-strength castable, high temperature Calcium silicate board.
Rotary kiln: phosphate combined with high alumina bricks, silica bricks, magnesia chrome bricks, steel fiber reinforced castables.
Grate cooler: vault alkali-resistant brick, high-aluminum refractory castable, steel fiber reinforced castable, high temperature Calcium silicate board.
Coal injection pipe: special castable for coal injection pipe.
Performance of high temperature Calcium silicate board in cement kilns is as follows:
(1) Reduce the surface temperature and heat dissipation loss of the cylinder;
(2) Prevent the cylinder from overheating;
(3) Reduce the weight of kiln lining materials;
(4) Reduce project cost.
