     Application of insulation ceramic module on pit furnace

     The pit furnace has a vertical circular furnace hearth. Its furnace hearth diameter is 0.5-4.5 m and furnace depth is up to 30 m. Its thermal system is similar to the bogie hearth heat treatment furnace, and it is used for heat treatment heating of long rod-shaped workpieces, such as barrels, steam turbine main shafts, and generators rotors, main shafts of marine diesel engines and other workpieces.

     The furnace lining is made of clay bricks, and the insulation ceramic module is used as the furnace lining insulation layer. As long as the long rod-shaped heat-treated workpieces is kept vertical when being taken out of the furnace, and avoid workpieces hitting the pit furnace wall lining, the pit furnace wall lining and furnace cover can all be made with refractory fiber (ceramic fiber module) as furnace lining material.
