Refractory ceramic fibre products are a new type of refractory insulation material that has been widely acclaimed in recent years. Refractory ceramic fiber blankets, panels, and modules are mostly used in high-temperature kilns.
Refractory ceramic fibre is a high-efficiency energy-saving thermal insulation material. It not only has the characteristics of ordinary fibers, but also has high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance that ordinary fibers do not have. And it doesn’t have the brittleness of general refractory materials.
It has become a consensus to use refractory ceramic fibre materials to replace traditional heavy refractory bricks as industrial kiln wall lining materials. Using lightweight, low thermal conductivity fiber material as industrial kiln wall lining can reduce the thickness of industrial kiln wall lining by 1/2, can reduce the kiln weight by 60~80% and can reduce the steel for furnace building by 30~50%. Especially the all-fiber kiln developed in recent years-that is, both the kiln wall and the lining are made of ceramic fiber. The heat storage capacity of fiber lining is only 1/10~1/30 of brick furnace, and its weight is 1/10~1/20 of brick furnace.
Therefore, using refractory ceramic fiber materials as kiln wall lining can reduce the thickness of the kiln wall, lower the surface temperature of the kiln wall, accelerate the heating rate of the kiln, and save the masonry materials and reduce the cost.
